3 Healthy & Delicious Treats for Mother's Day

I always love to give the special mothers in my life something delicious but also nutritious for Mother's Day.  Here are three of my favorites.

Nourishing Cookies - This lovely recipe is easy to make and utilizes some of the most delicious foods that are known in Ayurveda for building healthy tissues - dates, almonds and coconut oil.

Guilt-Free Fudge Balls - These take about 10 minutes start to finish and have a wonderful, rich texture.
Chocolate bon bons

Probiotic Almond Cheese - For the mother who doesn't like sweets, try this healthy almond cheese. It is a spreadable consistency and can be made with any combination of favorite fresh herbs. (This takes more time - you can ferment it for 12 hours or up to 3 days, so get started now! Hands on time is minimal but the almonds should be soaked overnight before blending and fermenting.)
