Apple Ginger Chutney

2 organic apples, peeled, cored, and chopped

1/4 cup raisins

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1” chunk of fresh ginger, grated

1/4 tsp grated lemon rind

Juice of 1/4 lemon

1/8 tsp salt

1/4 cup water


1. Place all ingredients in a medium sized pot and bring to a boil.

2. Lower heat and simmer, uncovered, for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve as a side to Indian-inspired dishes.
